Happy New Year

It's been ages since I've written anything here. I think I don't post often because I'm writing emails all day long at work so I'm out of writing by the time I find my way over here. I don't know how people keep up with posting photos on Flickr on a daily basis. Or posting a blog everyday. I guess it depends on what your schedule is like! My schedule for the past two days involved driving with my husband to a Chinese market in Albany (NY) to buy some chrysanthemum's for tea. Since Guy has been going to the acupuncturist, he has been getting a ton of relief from all sorts of pain he's had including his kidney stone pains. So when this lovely acupuncturist suggested chrysanthemum, we had to find a store to buy it. As a side note, Guy says the tea tastes like Artichokes! :)

So the other part of my weekend was spent with dogs. Lots and lots of dogs. My own two babies: Dino and Chillum, as well as our friends dogs, Bubba and Wilma. Then there's Petey, Roy and Bear that are staying in the kennel for the moment, waiting to find permanent homes. So my fun is getting all my snow gear on and heading to the woods with all these crazy critters. Bubba and Wilma tend to stay home with their mama's but the rest usually come along. It's a great experience to walk in a quite, snowy, wooded area - all alone - except for the trees, birds, hiding bears (I saw bear tracks last week!!!), and the dogs. A very simple life.

I managed to add a few new items to our Etsy shop this weekend! Yay! I haven't had the time to do that. So please take a look at the new listings when you get a minute. We're working behind the scenes but don't always make it to the computer to update what we're up to. Plus it's winter so it seems like everything is kind of on pause for now. A good kind of pause! A take a deep breath and be happy to be alive kind of pause.

:)
